The Department of Curriculum and Instruction helps to promote student success by providing a standards-based curriculum with access to educational technologies and professional learning opportunities for the district's instructional staff.

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is responsible for coordinating, developing and evaluating instruction in order to assure the best educational program. It works collaboratively with administrators and staff to prepare a curriculum that is aligned to the Ohio Academic Content Standards with the goal of implementing effective instructional strategies that will meet the diverse learning needs of our students.

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is made up of the following areas:  Curriculum, Gifted and Talented, iReady Diagnostic, Ohio Improvement Process, Race to the Top (RttT) Grant, and Title I.
